Two Hearts Together for 40 Years

Dear Family and Friends,

Carlos and I would love your help for this “Oktoberfest” fundraiser. Although the theme is not in our Polish-Puerto Rican wheelhouse, the charity definitely is. Our dear friend, Ellen Sutherland Freeman, has gotten us involved in Shared Beat which does Mission Work supporting children in impoverished areas of Guatemala. But even more important is their work to identify local students and grant them scholarships, allowing these young people to become nurses, physical therapists, psychologists, and physicians. These newly minted medical professionals are then able to directly help people in their communities. Carlos and I are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary this October 17, and plan to dedicate our personal “Oktoberfest” to Shared Beat. We are in the phase of our lives where we are looking to disperse and not acquire more “things”, so, will you help us celebrate by either participating in the Shared Beat Auction (http://auctions.networkforgood.com/go/OktoberfestAuction) or by simply giving a small donation?
